Without a shroud, hot air exhausted at 70–80°C re-circulates in the room, raises ambient temperature, and gets partially drawn back into the miner intake — causing progressive overheating and reduced hashrate.
What size shroud does the Antminer S19 Pro need?
The Antminer S19 Pro uses two 120mm fan units on the intake and exhaust sides. Our 120mm-to-4-inch ABS duct adapter fits the exhaust fan directly. You then connect a 4-inch flexible aluminum dryer duct to the adapter to route hot air to an exterior vent.
What size shroud does the WhatsMiner M30S use?
The WhatsMiner M30S series uses larger 140mm high-CFM fans. Our 140mm-to-6-inch ABS duct adapter fits directly onto the M30S exhaust fan. A 6-inch flexible duct is then used to direct hot air outside. The larger duct diameter maintains full CFM without restricting airflow.
